Riya's Chilli Paneer is a breeze to make, bringing tasty Indo-Asian flavours to your plate super fast! Just coat the paneer, fry it until it's perfectly golden, and then toss it in a yummy sauce with crunchy veg. It's so quick and easy to whip up for a delicious meal that's bursting with flavour – no complicated steps needed!


Ingredients 2 Servings


  • 5 tbsp Stir Fry/Sesame Oil​

  • Riya’s 250g Diced Paneer

  • 1 Capsicum / Pepper cut into chunks

  • 1x medium-large brown onion sliced

  • 6 cloves crushed garlic 

  • 1" cube fresh ginger - grated

  • 2-3 sliced green chillies (depending on heat level required)

  • 4 tbsp Maggi Masala Chilli Sauce

  • 3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup

  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce 

  • 1/4 tsp of 5 Spice

  • Sliced Spring Onions & Sesame Seeds for Garnishing


Cooking Methods


​​​Step 1

Deep fry Riya's Paneer in hot oil until just turning brown on the edges. Drain and keep aside. -  Tip! By not over frying it, the Paneer will remain soft and not chewy


Step 2

Heat oil in a large pan, Wok or medium size pot


Step 3

Add sliced brown onions, garlic, ginger & chillies. Cooked on medium heat for 2-3 mins


Step 4

Add the fried paneer, all 3 sauces &  Chinese 5 Spice. Mix well. Cover & cook for 5-7 mins on med heat


​Step 5​ 

Add sliced green chillies & chopped Capsicum/Peppers and mix again. Cook for a further 5 mins. Tip! By adding the peppers last, they wont go soggy!


Step 6

Taste and if required add salt. When serving garnish with sliced spring onions & sesame seeds.


Step 7

Enjoy with Riya’s Naan, Noodles or Rice!
